Born in Reuil Malmaison in 1985, Alex started to play the violin at the age of six at the conservatory of Créteil, in the class of Pierre Hofer. He was accepted in the CNSMD Lyon in 2005 in the class of Vladimir Nematu and Kazimierz Olechowski, where he obtained his Master’s in 2010 with a unanimous mention très bien. Being a passionate of chamber and orchestral music, he entered in the CNSMD Lyon master’s programme in chamber music, in the class of Franck Krawcyck and Yovan Markovitch. He subsequently, with Trio Palmer, he was part of the trio class Wanderer at the Pôle Supérieur de Paris, where he benefited from the valuable tuition from Jean Marc Philips, Vincent Coq, Raphaël Pidoux and Emmanuel Strosser. Alex regularly plays with orchestras, such as the Orchestre National de France, the Radio France Philharmonics, Capitole de Toulouse, the Orchestre de Montpellier, and the Orchestre de Strasbourg. In 2010, he became part of the orchestra at the Opéra de Lyon, where he was named third soloist in October 2015. He was appointed solo violinist of the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine in 2017.
